This site is a tribute to Valerie Pearson who passed away at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital on 8th October aged 76 years. Beloved Wife of Geoff, loving Mum of Robert and Edward and devoted Nan of Amy, Lucy, Katie, Lauren, Grace and Esmé, Great Nan to Carwyn and Callie also loving Sister of Gloria. Val will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

The funeral service took place at the Forest of Dean Crematorium Chapel on Thursday 28th October with Mrs Sherry Phillips officiating. On entry to the chapel, a recording of ‘Lark ascending’ was played. The hymns were ‘All things bright and beautiful’ and ‘How great Thou art´ and the recessional music was ‘All I have to do is dream’ as recorded by The Everly Brothers.

The funeral arrangements were carried out by Ernest Heal & Sons, 5 South Road, Broadwell, Gloucestershire, who are collecting donations for Parkinson’s U.K. which would be sincerely appreciated.
